I think we've actually gotten away from this-------there are so many other flags...cute Welcome flags, Holiday flags, Football team flags..........but there is no more important flag that the good ole RED, WHITE AND BLUE!
In this time of war and seemingly devisive political time I especially love to see the American flag waving!!

I love to hear people's stories of how they discovered Mexico Beach. The most frequently told story is........".we had been going to Panama City Beach for years........or we've been going to St. George Island for years.......and they've heard of Mexico Beach but had never been. Decided to just check it out and ................FELL IN LOVE! Now we don't go to PC Beach or St. George Island anymore! " (nothing against those two places!!!)

Not a lot going on the past 7 days I'm afraid. A condo was put under contract and a mobile home up in Overstreet closed. That's about it!
There are 34 properties currently under contract in Mexico Beach to St. Joe Beach. Several of those are short sales and have been under contract for AWHILE several are closing shortly!!!

The fireworks are shot off the pier so you can't use the pier that day. They'll start around dark!
Take your chairs and snacks and beverages and snag a great place anywhere on the beach! The personal fireworks are great too and you can even see the Port St. Joe fireworks in the distance!!
PLEASE REMEMBER TO CLEAN UP YOUR AREA WHEN YOU LEAVE!!!!
