Tropical Storm Fay

For those of you who haven't called me.......................Fay has come and gone and didn't spend a lot of time in Mexico Beach! We, once again, escaped the "devastation" the weather channel predicted.

Friday evening we had quite a bit of heavy rain. The ocean was churned up pretty good and well, that's pretty much it! It was overcast and drizzly Saturday, off and on sunshine with some scattered rain Sunday. Looks as if we are going to have a little more rain today.

I know the radar showed we got blasted, but we didn't! I don't know how Panama City Beach fared. I know Tallahassee had torrential rainstorms that flooded many streets and probably had quite a few trees down.

So, once again, we were spared!

The MBARA kingfish Tournament was postponed to September 13th. The cooking team had everything ready to go, but fortunately Raffields fisheries allowed them to put all that sausage in their freezer!!! So they'll be ready Friday the 12th for the captain's party!!!

Although there weren't a lot of people down this past weekend, I showed property all weekend to some folks who have been looking for a while and feel that this is the right time to "jump in" !

Interest rates have edged up slightly and most people are saying they won't drop under 6% again.

My real estate newsletter on the stats for August will be out in a week or so. If you've not signed up to receive it via email, please do!

As always, you can keep up to date on all the properties for sale through my website.
Have a great week and remember "God loves everyone, but probably prefers "fruits of the spirit" over "religious nuts"!!!!!
