Wanted to send out a quick update on the oil spill and Mexico Beach! I had someone send me a picture of a gooey oil blob Monday. They found it on Mexico Beach over the weekend. They notified the authorities and I guess it was sent in for analysis.
I must confess I don't always read the Star paper, but there was an article in it last week about tarballs on the Cape.

So, I guess we have not come out totally unscathed---I guess that would have been a sure miracle!!
Please feel free to email me any pictures or information you have about any oil found here as I want to be as honest and accurate as possible.
